**Attention Students**
This digital portfolio was created to provide an example of what is expected of Child Development Students from beginning to end. Every student will be required to create a digital portfolio of their own to showcase their assignments, knowledge, and growth.
Remember to keep your digital portfolio professional. It should be a blend of professionalism with a creative input. You need to focus on the content and any visual additions should not be distracting.
As you review this entire portfolio you will be introduced to several options of showing growth. Keep in mind that showing growth can also be defined by the improvement of the quality of writing and content. Keep in mind that if you have feedback from your professors hang on to it. Once you reach CHDV 210, displaying the feedback you have received, in addition to your artifacts, makes your growth that much more apparent.
This portfolio was created during the Fall 2011 semester. Please be advised that some of the documents and/or assignments may have changed. If you see any discrepancies or have any questions please see your instructor.
Warning: Do not plagiarize! The professors in the child development department are familiar with all documents displayed throughout this portfolio. Disciplinary action will be taken if any student is caught doing so. The term “plagiarism” includes, but is not limited to, the use, by paraphrase or direct quotation, of
the published or unpublished work of another person without full and clear acknowledgment.

Hi, My name is Misty Bennett. I have loved working with children for as long as I can remember. From babysitting when I was younger to spending time with my own children now. Working in the preschool environment has just reiterated what I already knew, this is what I am meant to do. I cannot wait to have my own preschool class in the future.
